CURIOUS AFFAIR.

Melbddbnb, January 20. A farmer named Hawkins was arrested at Bealibra on a charge of murdering his wife. At the inquest the evidence went to show that the wound which caused death was accidentally^ received, the gun exploding, and an open verdict was returned. Since then circumstances have arisen, which led to the exhumation of the body, and another serious charge.
