Hawera January 18. At the Glover Koad yards on the 16th inst. we had a good yarding of stock. Bidding was brisk throughout, resulting in most of the stock changing hands before leaving the yards. Fat bullocks, L 6 10s to L 6 18s ; fat and forward bullooks, L 5 17s 6d to L 6 Cd ; 2 J to 3 year steers, L 4 10s to L 5 6d ; 18 month steers, L 2 10s 6d to L 3 ss ; fat cows, L 4 15s to L 5 3s ; fat heifers, L4Bs to L 5 8s ; store oows, L 3 5s to L 3 16s 6d ; cows and calves, L 4 10s to L 5 ss ; dairy heifers, L4to L 4 15s ; 18 to 20 month heifers, L 2 16s to L 3 2s ; yearlings, LI 17s 6d to L 2 12b ; weaners, LI Is to LI 9s ; bulls, L 5 Is. At Okaiawa, on the 17th inst., we submitted a large yarding of Btook, mostly weaners. There was a large attendance of buyers, and bidding spirited, resulting in every pen of stook yarded, save six head, changing bands at the hammer.
