Hobaet, January 17. The Congress has concluded its session. On the motion of Professor Derham, of Dunedin, a resolution was carried in favour of. more effective measures for the conservation of forests. The Congress also adopted resolutions setting aside areas to secure pure water supply for towns, and taking measures < to prevent the spread of phthisis, recommending at least one tuberculosis sanatorium to be provided in every State.
