BUTCHERS' DISPUTE.
(PER PBKB3 ASSOCUTION.)
Dunbdin, January 25. The Conciliation Board met to-day to hear a dispute between the Dunedin and Suburban Operative Butchers' Union and the master butchers, but an understanding was arrived at between the parties. During the hearing of the oase it -was stated that, notwithstanding the large increase in retail prices for meat, the butchering business did not pay, and it was stated in support that, recently, thirteen butchers in the city and suburbs had to give up business.
