FATAL ACCIDENT.
A sad fatal acoident occurred at Waverley, on Monday morning, says the Fatea Press. An old and respected resident, Mr John Johnston, was carting furniture, when the horse became startled and bolted. The dray struck a post and capsized, pinning Mr Johnston under (he guard rail. He was extricated, bnt expired in about 20 minutes. The ohest was terribly crushed, the whole weight of the dray having fallen on the man. The deceased leaves a large family of little ones.
