"FETTERED LIVES."
The Patea Dramatic Olab will stage the great five- aot drama, "Fettered i Lives," in the Opera Housa on Wed* 'nesday next. The club have gone to considerable expense in connection with the production of the drama, which was greeted on its first production at Patea by a large and appreciative audience. The piece wbb again staged at Patea laßt night, to another packed house, and the applause from the audienoe at the curtain rising on the boat scene was deafening, as it also was when, in the same scene, the convict ship was blown up, AH through, the pieoe is full of startling and interesting, as well as humorous incidents. One feature is the scenery specially painted for thiß production by the club's scenic artist, Miss Cameron. Judging from the way the reserved seats are being booked, the Patea Draraatio Club should be greeted by a good house. Efforts are being made to form a orioket club at Patea.
