Tbe Committee reserve the right to postpone the sports should the weather be unfavorable, and also to withdraw, add to, or alter any event in the programme; also, penalise winners of any event. Nominations for pedestrian events must be accompanied with last two years' performances, if none during that time the last performances mast be sent. Performances must accompany nominations for swimming events. Competitors in swimming events most ' be clad in University costume. In Nos. 2, 3, and 5 mile cycling events points will count for Messrs Ringwood and Woolmer's cup, value 10 guineas. Pedestrian event No. 7 open to members of Manchester Unity only.
