NORMANBY.
HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
A meeting of the executive committee was held on Friday evening, Mr W. Rowe, president, in the chair.
The committee finished the revision of the catalogue for forthcoming show, and allotted special and points prizes throughout the respective sections. Resolved, That the annual exhibition be held on Friday, March 15th, 1901, as the 17th (St. Patrick's Day) falls on a Sunday.
Resolved, That a hearty vote of thanks be accorded to the very numerous number ef donors of special prizes promised for competition at the forthcoming show. Resolved, That members of the socioty be allowed use of the books recently received from the. Royal Horticultural Society (England) on personal application to the secretary, and that the books be returned to the society's office not later than 14 days after being issued.
It might be mentioned that at the society's next show four beautifully designed medals of the Royal HorticulturaJ Society will be offered for competition, as well as other gold and silver medals given by members of the socioty.
