The b&kxicesheet showed that the revenue had been £106, made up principally of rents £38, oyoling club £11, football club £15, tennis club £18, cricket dab £10, Star cricket club, £15. On the expenditure side, wages had absorbed £44, interest £43, and labour and sundries £& The property and assets are valued at £1420 of which £1350 is represented by real estate. The liabilities— including £1151 mortgage and bank balance, £53 interest, £66 sundry aooounts— total £1271, and in addition there was a contingent liability of £375 for debentures.
Beport and balance sheet were adopted after considerable disoussion as to ways and means.
It was resolved that a caretaker be appointed, Messrs Butts, Pratt, and Elliott
to be a committee to arrange. Also that the position be explained to their variousclubs by the delegates, with a request for an increaeed subscription of £5 eaoh. In connection with an account for £6 S3 due to him Mr Major offered to take a debenture for £5, and to donate the balance ; and Mr W. G. White offered to give the club a sum of £5 he had advanced to pay caretaker's wages. Both offers were acoepted with thanks. It was resolved thut a fancy costume cricket matoh be played in aid of funds* and that a floral fete with similar object ba held in. January.
