The small maker, working on practically no capital, uses timber that is either not seasoned or is artificially dried with hot air, whioh ?s just as bad. Surely it is to the customer's advantage to buy from a maker of repute. It is a guarantee in itself that he is getting a reliable musical instrument, and not a box of wireß, as many oheap pianos are.
