♦ BESOLUTION by CHBISTCHUBCH WOMEN'S POLITICAL LEAGUE. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, October 8. At a meeting of the Women's Political Association, reference was made to the recent trouble between the Premier and Mr Collins, and a motion was passed to the effect that the Association desired to place on record its disapproval of the Premier's treatment of those members of his party — who ventured to differ from him in matters before the House. It was also decided that the secretary be instructed to convey to Mr Collins the sympathy of the Association upon the treatment recently received by him from the Premier.
