FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'S REPORT.

Johksonville, October 3.

Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report as to their Johnsonville sales : — Fat cattle, in average supply, sold briskly throughout. In the most part the quality was prime. Prices were a shade better than last week. Ox beef varied in price per lOOlbs, but of the whole the average was 22s 6d. Cow beef we quote at 203. Sheep, in larger numbers, generally receded on last week, prices in some olasses as much as 2s per head. Fat bullocks made from £8 5s to £10; fat oows, £6 7s 6d ; prime fat wethers, 18s to 19s 6d ; medium, 17b 7d ; prime ewes, 17s 3d to 17s 4d; good ewes, 16s 5d to 17b 3d; medium ewes, 15s 2d to 16s.
