Sensational Shooting Incident.
(I'KR PRESS ASSOCIATION.") DUNEDIN, December 14. Louis Parlett, living at Green Island, deliberately shot a boy nainad James Mclvor, 14 years of age^ in the leg. The boy went up to the house in which Parlett and two others wore sitting, and peering through the window said " Hallo, long fellow." Parlett seized a single-barrelled shotgun, and saying " I'll put a bullet or a shot through him I " fired. Shots from the gun lodged in the boy's leg. So far only three pellets have been extracted. The boy at present is in no danger. Parlett has been arrested.
