GOLF.
A meeting of those interested in iha formation of 41 golf olab was held at O'Oonnell'a t hotel on Tuesday evening. About a doien were present, and a number of others accounted for. Mr D. Nimnio Sootc~was voted to the obair, and after sojcne conversation it was decided that a olub be formed ; Mr Stroots was appointed secretary ; Messrs Soott, Card, Mair, and Dr. Westenra a committee ; and Dr. Westenra captain. The rrembersbip fee was fixed at ss ; ladies, 2s 6 i. From the interest taken, and tbe reports reoeived from outside, it was generally thought a good strong club would be established.
