At a meeting of tbe ten senior priests of tbe Diocese of Dunedin, ab wbioh Archbishop Redwood presided, it was decided to submit tbe following three names for consideration of tha Holy See in the matter of the vacant Bishopric : — Rev Wm. Burke, Qaeenstown, Digniscimus; Very Rev. P. O'Leary, Lawrence, Dignior ; and Rev. M. Walsh, Riverton, Dignus. The Arohbishop bas confirmed the aDpointment of the Very Rev, Fathers Lynch, of Dunedin, and Mackay, o! Oamaru, as joint administrators. ' Bishop Moran by his will left everything save a few trifling bequestß, to bis successor.
