THE FOX LETTER.
THE FINDING OR THE COMMISSION.
(BJ TBLEQBiPH.) From our Parliamentary Correspondent.) , WELLINGTON, June 28i' The report of the Fox Commission arraigns two Ministers— Messrs Buokley and Cadman. The Commissioner finds that the Defence Department was 'in no way concerned in the publication of the correspondence, ' and that Mr Hoben, Evening Post Parliamentary reporter, did noc obtain the oorrespondenoe in a dishonorable manner as suggested by a certain number of the witnesses. Mi O'Hara Smith's opinion of the evidence points to the Post having obtained the information on the morning 4th April, between certain hours, daring which the papers were in the custody either of Mr Buckley or Mr Oadman, or in transit between these two-^ia^v dosed envelopes in charge, of messengers. The Commissioners finds that evidence in. dicates more particularly that the letter was obtained from either^Mr Bnoklev or his messenger Sandbroofc Both Buckley and Cadman denied on oath that tbeinf formation came from them either Aixeetli or indirectly. The Post, ; iripubHahhS _ < prens report, says ;that,it has ledftl^ several stormy Cabinet jpoenes.
