A Generous Donation.
The following letter has been received by Mr Brett, secretary to the Hospital Committee •.—" June 20, 1893. Sir,—l beg to enclose £10 as a donation to the Hawera District Hospital, and to wish it God speed. Stratford." A £10-uote was enclosed. The anonymous donor will be heartily thanked by the Hawera people for his handsome gift, and for the kindly expression of sympathy. The letter is valuable as showing that the institution is deemed worthy of support as a South Taranaki institution.
