Lord Bosebery has agreed to a modus vivendi respecting the Behring Sea dispute. Sealing is to be prohibited within 10 miles of the Bussian coast, and Parliament: will be asked to legislate to tbat effect. The Dublin Council has rejected a motion that congratulatory message! should be sent to the Qaeen and tbe Prince of Wales on the occasion of tbe marriage of the Dnke of York to Princess May. WASHINGTON, Jane 5. The Finance Committee of the Senate J is in favour of repealing the Sherman Silver Act. j Tne New York Herald is responsible for a report that Admiral Tryon has informed Earl Spencer, First Lord of the Admiralty, that he is unable to guarantee the neutrality of the Mediterranean, owing to the weakness of bis squadron. A colliery at Eagle Pass,in T«xas, caught fire, and 60 men were entombed. They are believed to be dead. Bepeated attempts have been made to rescue them, but have failed. Twenty-six corpaeß have been recovered from the colliery at Eagle Pass. Some of the survivors are horribly burned. BELGBADE, June 5. The Servian Radicals are proposing to banish M.
