Tbe find cocsists of, three nearly complete skeletons of the diprotodon, a large number of bones of tbe 'tame animal, three specimens of guan and wombat (about tbe size of a bullook), and the remains of an extinct bird, similar to tbe New Zealand moa. ITbe diprotodon ib a very large kankaroo, known hitherto only by fossil skull • and bones, found in rooks in Aastralia. j
