Store Sheep— About 3000 yarded, for whiah existed a fair demand, especially for good sorts of ewfes o£;warranted quality, and for which up to 19s .was.paid. Other lines of ewes sold at J?9s* l^dftg;34| 10d; aged ewes 6s to 8s 3d, merino, e,wes. 2s 6d and 3s, crossbred lambs 7s' 9cLto 95. 3d.
Fat laicbs were easily disposed of at prices ranging from 10s 3d to Us 9d. Fat Sb£ep— The sale was limited to less than '' 4600 sheep, of which a large proportion '""iwere merino wethers, for which the demand %mfis .better than usual. The result was '^that all were sold at satisfactory rates ' 'winging from 8s 3d, a few of extra quality being sold at higher rates. The sale of croßsbreds was limited in extent, but the demand for export was not active owing to the Belfast works being blocked with sheep, and prices suffered in consequence Fat Cattle— Small hand sized steers and heifers sold from JBS 17s 6d to x 7 15s. With few heavier cattle in proportion, there was a good sale of fat cows at proportionately advanced rates. A capital demand existed for any sort of dairy cow yarded, and prices ranged from £\ 103 to JE9 l2s 6d. ' 1 Pigs— About 300 were offered and met ■with a ready sale. I
