A protest was entered against the winner on the ground that be ran under an assumed name. A protest was also entered againßt Hippodamia, on the ground that she bad previously won a race worth over _UO. Both protests will be 'considered to-night. Stockboy is believed to be identioal with the horse Badger, of Auckland. The Bum of £3137 was put through the totalisator.
