Suspected Murder at Pahiatua.
PAHIATUA, February 10. "What ate supposed to be Jacobsen's remains were found in a oaloined state on a Btump near the place where he had been oamped. On handling the bones they crumbled to dust, but the boots, teeth, some shirt buttons, and a few IrifliDg articles have been identified. The polio* decline to famish any information whatever. It appears that Aldridge's whereabouts were discovered through a girt in Ohrißtohuroh. It waß from the postmark on a letter received by her from Aiaridge that he was caught.
Tha Hawera Band will give an open air concert on Saturday night, Febrnary 11, tioaer the conduotorßbip of Mr. Higham (weather permitting).
