LONDON, Febrnary 8.
At a meeting of the Colonial Institute on the 14tb inst., Professor Wallace will rtad • piper, in which be will contend that freezing only absorbs a portion of the surplus Btook, and. will suggest that hindquarters of mutton be converted into bams by the sweat-onring prooees, limiting the amount of flalt. He expresses an opinion that this trade would be certain to develope a market.
