Mr. J. Angus Sutherland is equipping a private expedition to explore the unknown regions of Australia, on the tracks followed by Go6se and Giles; also, to search for relics of Leichardt, He is in hopes tbat the Royal Geographical Sooiety will cooperate with him.
The Jewish Charitable Society is sending 400 refugee Jews to Australia tbia week. They will be followed by a larger contingent in a month. SYDNEY, February 8.
Tbe Legislative Council has inserted tbe property vote in tbe Electoral Bill, on condition tbat two votes are not exercised in one electorate.
