NELSON RACES.
(MB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NELSON, January 30. The attendance at »ha first day's races was disappointing, as also was the raoing as a whole. Swordbelt won the Gop and •lio the Grandstand Handicap, Chiton and O'Rourke being second and third in the latter. Bover won the Time Trot, a mile and a half, in Bmin 54sec. In tbs Hordlef, Langley the Devil, Cloud, and Clarice were the placed horses.
