BMBI (through the member for tbe district) be urged to cable to tbe Agent-General for an independent report on (a) condition of batter from Taranaki,. alleged to have :arrirsd in London in uosonnd oondition ; ' (b) on (hs probable canee of such noeoand* nessi and that the county coanoils of Hawera, Patea, and Taranaki, together with tbe chambers of commerce within tbe province, be asked to co-operate with the council in the matter; (c) that tbe Government be urged to provide for the inspection and grading of all produce for •xport; (d) a report on all produos arriving in outside established markets in nnsound condition, and also tbat all mail steamers subsidised by Government be Mdttind to carry cool chambers for butter and sbeese on each trip.
