♦ | MESSBS. F. E. JACKSON AND CO.'S STOCK BEPOBT. Wanganui, December 11. Owing to the holidads we have only the result of the St. Hfll-street sale to report. We had a fnll yard. Cattle were easier in price, though we sold nearly all that came forward. Sheep were in good supply, and maintained late rates. Pigs were lower in value. Our quotations are : — Cattle.— Steers, £3 6s j 3-year-old steers, • £A 14a to JES ; fat cows (small), JE4 lls to JBS Is; store cows, Je3 7s6d; heifers, JB2 Via t milch cows, £A 10s to £1 ; weaners, 80s to 30s. Sheep.— Fat wethers, 12s 3d to 12s 9d j fat ewes, 10s to 11s 7d ; store wethers, Us to Us 8d; 2-tooth wethers, 9a 6dto 10s 4d ; store ewes ; Bs. Pigs.— Large pigs, up to 30s ; porkers, 12s to 16s;. stores, 6s 9d to 12s sd; small pigs, 4sWßs. '
