A horse that has uever won an advextised race (Hack and Hunter races excepted) and is not nominated at time of start, and has not during the six months previous thereto, been nominated for any race, (Hack and Hunter races excepted). The winner of any handicap race after publication of the -weights to carry a 71b penalty. The Rules of Racing as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs in New Zealand strictly adhered to.
