The Montague-Turner English Opera Company,

BOHEMIAN Glßft There was a very good attendance at the Town Hall on Tuesday evening, when Balfe's well-known opera •• Tbe Bohemian Girl" was performed. As " Arline," Miss Montague sang and acted splendidly, and on several occasions was enoored. "I dreamt I dwelt" was beautifully sang]; and •• Home, sweet home," introduced at the beginning of the fourth act, in the drawing-room scene, was given with ex* quisite pathos, and tbe demand for a repetition was so universal that Miss Montague could not escape it. Mr. Turner, as "Thaddens," also was very successful, and bis singing of "When other lips" and " Fair land of Poland " was highly appreciated. Demands for repetition were not complied with. Mr. Sceats, as " Count Arnheim," sang well, especially in "The heart bowed down.". Mr England made a good deal of" Devils* hoof," and other characters were fairly well filled. The duets, trie's, quartettes, and obornses went well; aod tbe per* formance as a whole was highly successful.
