Helen McGregor was bred by Mr. Robert Matthews, Temuka, and in 1885 alone she gained the following prizes:— Firat and champion at Timaau and^Waimate, and second at Chnstchurch, Oamaru, and Dunedin • at Oamaru, in 1890, second in dry mare class, and first for mare and progeny.
