Tbe Chiel Oommissioner considered all bands should be placed on tbe same footing. He praotic- ■ ally promised to give bandsmen return fares at^ingle rates. It is expected that Bixhunareftbanußmeo'wiU to present at the contest, which extends from 9th to 12tb November.
