JONES, Proprietor THE STAB ALMANACK AKD WEST COAST DIEECTOBT. OPINIONS OF THE PRESS. (Taranaki Herald.) We have received a copy of the Hawera Star Almanack and West Coast Directory, one of the neatest and compilations of the kind issued in New Zealand, It contains a large amount of information, and has evidently been compiled and printed with the utmost care. It has a very complete directory of the Weßt Coast, which has been carefully corrected, and there is also a good deal of useful itformation, which will make the book in« valuable. (Wellington Evening Press.) The Hawera Star Almanac and West Coast (North, Island) Directory ia to hand, and, as usual, it is one of the best publications of the kind in the colony, containing an iipmenae. amount of most ÜBef ul information, including garclqning, sporting records, statistics, etc." , (Taranaki News.) One of the handiest publications we receive is the Hawera Star Almanao and Directory. The Almanac this year is more complete than it has ever before been, which^ is saying a great deal, and we predict for it a very extensive circulation. , It contains much valuable information— statistical and otherwise— and aa a local book of reference is very accurate. The Almanac is printed excellently, and in this respeot, as well as generally, it reflects great credit on the ■ Star Office. (Wanganui Herald.) We are now in receJDt .of oopy of the : Star Almanack jand West .Coast Directory for 1892, the Directory including Wanganm, Paimerston North, Feilding, Marton, Hawera, and New Plymouth. The volume is a bulky one of about 350 pages, and the information therein contained is not only varied and good, but acourate'and essentially useful. We note that in the oalendarfor the months is given the mean time o£ high water at ancj , Waitara; and, besides ,a, djary, .{ih'ere is also a garden calendar, sporting records, educational and statistical information, census returns, fishing and shooting regulations, farm notes, and a New Zea. land itinerary. The Almanack is ex.cellently , compiled,. r and reflects most creditably on Messrs. lanes and 00., of JSawera, from .whose printing office it is issued. (Marton Mercury.) We have received the Star Almanack and West Coast Directory, printed and published bx ..Messrs* Innes, -and 00., Hawera. It is a rnq^t .useful production, and contains amongst „ other , features, directories of Marton, .Feildingi , and Paimerston. Th r e 609k consists of 351 pages and is exceptionally well printed and got up (Manawatu .Standard.) The beßt book Almanac published on this Ooast is undoubtedly tbatof Messrs Innes and 00., of , Hawera, the Star Almanac. ..Besides being a compendium of useful and interesting information, 1 there is a capital directory of the towns along the Coast. The printing is eif 1 cellently done, and the volume is worth a place in any office. : M Foa _ the Blood ib this Jjam.^ worid-famedO^looi VV mixture is warranted to, cleanw ( the blooil from all t impurities frbn whateve^caus^ gjiaing. .
