SYDNEY, April 27.
Doig, who was killed in the railway acoident, was formerly a commercial traveller having bis headquarters at DnnediD, New Zealand. Caaaidy % an exQueensland resident, who aooompanied him on the ill-fated journey, escaped unhurt. The other bodies have been indentified as those of, Millie Ashwell, W> Ayres (photographer), Charles Faiby, and Mr. Cowell or Carroll. The guard and mail agent had a marvellous escape' from instaDt death, as it was they reoeived several injuries. The enginedriver states that the rail was broken in five different plaoee. Those who were killed most have suffered terrible agony. Some of tbe bodies were literally ground to pieces againot the granite cntting which flanked the line ; several pieoea of flesh and fragments of clothing were found among the debris. Tbe body of a woman, who as not yet been identified, was literally cut to pieces. , Ten persons ocoupied tbe ear wbiob oootained tbe mail oompartmeat, of tbat Dumber 00)7 one esoaped with life. The train was drawn by an engine know a as " The Baldwin," whioh class iB now subjeot to enquiry by Boyal Commission with regards to its suitableness on tbe New South Wales railways.
The oamtot of the other persons in* jored are— Lily ' Mao Donald, O'Sbea, and Thomas.

The damage to the rolling stook in the railway acoident is estimated at about £8000. The acoident is the most disastrous that 'dyer, occurred in Australia. The tram was travellnigaV'thy^ate of 20 miles an hour when the aooident tappened, and the driver managed to stop
