The action brought by Miss Daisy Hopkins claming damage for wrongful imprisonment against tbe Proctor of Cain's College, Cambridge, was continued to-day, when evidence damaging to tbe character of tbe plaintiff was adduced ; ultimately a verdict was returned for tbe defendant.
