WHOLESALE SUICIDE.
The present generation of mankind seems determined to proceed along the path that leads to death— the one that will kill it quickest;. The struggle for existence, business worry, gambling, horseraoing.and all nervous excitements, tend to reduce the vital strength and insure early death. Now-a-dayß it is the pace that kills; the body is worn ont before its natural spell of life is spent. There is no reason wby all men and women— physically perfect— should not live to be centenarians, provided care was taken that the system was not overtaxed in any particular direction. The symptoms of failing vitality are almost too well known to need enumeration here ; first the appetite fails, with pain after eatinsr. nervousness ensues, and sleepless or restless nights with headaches and tired aching! limbs on arising in the morning; a confirmed langnbror laßßitude takeß possession of the sufferer, who loses all interest in pleasure and even in life itself. Unfortunately such cases are only too common, such experiences come to every man, and on the firßt approaoh of such euro signs- of strength's failure, recourse must be had to a remedy to restore the failing vitality or qniokly he. sinks into the everlasting " for-ever-more." Such cases if treated in time, quickly yield to Clements Tonic. Long standing cases require protracted treatment, but in all curable cases Clements Tonic will quickly re-invigor-ate the system, restore the vim and spirit of youth, build up new bone, mußcle and nerve tissue, create an appetite and properly digpst and assimilate food. This is no boast, Clements Tonic is genuine, that it will do the good its manufacturers claim for it, has been proved in thousands of cases, as in that of W. H. Oram, Esq., Orookwell, N.8.W., who writes :— "For nine months I have used Clementß Totiio and have great pleasure in giving my testimony as to itß great effioaoy and wonderful curative effects on the Wvons system. I have frequently left tb,e office with severe headache and despondency, due to excessive mental labour, have been unable to take any food and had no appetite, and in every case a dose of Clements .Tonic has quickly removed the melancholy, created an appetite and caused me to relish a meal. * I have so much faith in Clements Tonio that I conscientiously recommend it to prefessional men and brain workers generally. I have seen it used for ohildren with beat results, and as for myself I would not be without it in the house." Aud Mr. Robert A. Luckbam, travelling representative of the Sydney Bulletin, a gentleman known in almost every city, town and village in Australia, testifies to the value of Clements Tonic, thus: "Bulletin office, Sydney,— lt affords me much pleasure to be able to testify to the many admirable qualities of Clements Tonio ; having used it for a abort time I found my strength wonderfully restored. I had been suffering from extreme nervous debility, from whioh I now quite recovered. I consider Clementß Tonio a great tone- giving and delightful ly refreshing stimulant."
