Thero is also a valuable sketch map of the district, with Mount Egmont towering overhead, and a great variety of \iscful information. As a specimen of typography the Star Almanack and Directort will compare favorably with anything of the kind Eublished in the Australian colonies, and it is to bo oped the enterprise of tho publishers will be as sufficiently rewarded ns it deserves to be.— Marlborough Express. Wo have received a copy of the Haweba Star Almanack for 1888. It is a highly creditable publication containing a largo amount of useful information.— liauiritikei Advocate. Wo havo to acknowledge the receipt of the Kawera Stak Almanack for 1888, which has been got up with its usual excellence and completeness. It contains n. varied amount of general information and statistics, as well as a directory of the various centres of populatiou in the provincial district.
