GREAT EXCITEMENT OVER THE POPE'S ATTITUDE.

LONDON. April 28. Tho decision of the Pope that the Catholics should not take part in the plan of the campaign has caused a tremendous shock to the Irish priests. The Freeman's Journal urges the Irish people to follow a policy of patience.
LONDON, April 29.
The Pope's condemnation of boycotting and the plan of campaign has caused intense excitement both in England and Ireland.
