Wanganui, April 28. Tho entries of sheep have been large during the past fortnight. We sold nearly all that came forward at full values. Wethers have been in good demand, and lambs are still inquired for. Our sales of cattle have been better since our last report, and although the rates show no improvement in values, the demand has been brisker. At Waverley wo had a full yard, and we cleared nearly the wholo. Pigs were dull of sale yesterday, and at reduced prices. On Saturday we sold a few good horses, and we have purchasers for really first-class hacks for export. Cattle.— -At Feilding— Steers, .£3 ss; cows, 20s to 253 ; yearlings, 235. At Palmeraton — 19-month steers, 30s to 345. At Waverley — 2 J-year-old steers, £2 11s ; 18month steers, 31s ; heifers, £2 17s Gd; yearling heifers, 22s Gd; bullocks, £4; calves, 12s ; milch cows, £3 to £1. Sheep. — At Feilding — Store wethera, 8s to 8s 4a ; ewes in lamb, 43 Gd ; shorn lambs, 48 5d to 5s 2d ; lambs in wool, 5s Bd. At Palmerston— Ewes, 6s 3d to 7s 3d ; wethers, 8s 7d; lambs, ss. At Wanganui— Store weihera, 8s lid to 9s 7d; others, 7s Gd to 8s 6d ; fat wethers, 9s 9d ; ewes of uniform quality, 3s Id to 4s. At Waverley — Wethers, 8s ; fat ewes, 7s ; ewes in lamb, 6s to 8s ; shorn lambs, 4s Bd. Pigs. — Large pigs, 28s to 355 ; porkers, 12s to 17s. Horses. — Hocks (good), £3 to £3 17s 6'd ,- ethers, £3 to £G. Poultry.— Fowls, 2s 6d to 3s 6d the couple ; ducks, 3s to 4s.
