Auckland, April 12.

Horses — There has been a little stir in the market; prices were a shade higher, and more sales were effected. There remains an unsatisfied inquiry for young upstanding horses. Cattle — An improved demand existed. Well fatted bullocks were 10s per head higher.

Sheep were in short supply. At Newmarket on Tuesday the previous week's prices were given. Lambs, scarce.

Pigs — Few yarded ; values unaltered.

Wool, Hides, and Skins — There was a spirited demand for ox hides, at from 4Jd to 4sd per lb. Sheepskins, from 2s to 3s 6d each.
