Mr. Seth Smith, R.M., Auckland, has been granted six months' leave of absence, and Dr. Giles, of Hokitika, will take his place. Mr. Wardell, R.M., Wellington, will resign on pension, and his position has been offered to Mr. Robinson, of Oamarn.
