Yonr Manures "were used upon tin's Estate for the Turnip crop last season at the rate of lcwl. each of Superphosphate M per cent, and Eonodust per acre. The results nvc very satisfactory, and the crop compares very favorably with- that/ ot tne previous season, when Lives' 36 pci- cent. Sup^j phosphates were used at the same rates. Deau Strs,— l wish you to know that lam greatly pleased with the Manure which I had from you last March:.- xou will remember that I inlendea to use Bouedust only, but on your recommendation, and a good deal against my own inclination, I gave a 33-aere field of Swedes at my Te Awamulu farm a dressing of your Special Dissolved Bone Manure. Ido not hesitate to say that the crop lias been three times as heavy as I had looked for— that is, three times as much as I had ever grown on the s:ime paddock with any other Manures. Many of the Swedes were 30 inches in circumference. I have also used your Grass Manure on new grass with extraordinary results. The sheep running on this grass have improved very rapidly, and^* consider thnt I have realised belter prices for them as a result of the use of the Manure. English Phosphates, costing 1 me »6 per ton more, have not yielded me results to be compared with those I have had since using yours — which is ever since your works started.
