We have to acknowledge the receipt of that excellent annual work, the Hawera Star Almanack. It is replete as usual with valuable information carefully compiled and of a nature calculated to be most useful to the residents of the large district within, which it circulates. The Almanack, which also contains an excellently-lithographed map of the Taranaki Provincial District, is splendid value, and a credit in every way to the office from which it is issued. — Wellington Press.
