It is replete as usual with valuable information carefully compiled and of a nature calculated to be most useful to the residents of tho larpe district within which it circulates. Tho Almanack, which also contains an excellently-lithographed map of the Taranaki Provincial District, is splendid value, and a credit in every way to the offico from which it is issued. — Wellington Press. Wo have to acknowledge tho receipt of a copy of the Hawera Stah Almanack. It is very neatly got up, and contains a fund of useful information. — Taranaki Herald. We have to acknowledge tho receipt of tho Haweba Star Almanack for 1888, which has been got up with its usual excellenco and completeness. It contains a varied amount of general information and statistics, as well as a directory of the various centres of population in tho provincial district. It will bo found a tiseful book of referenco for all classes of tho community. — Taranaki News. Wo beg to acknowledge receipt of a copy of the Stab Almanacx, Directort and Diart for tho current year, published by Innes and Co., of tho Hawera Star. It is a remarkably well got up volume, and should bo very useful to the West Coast settlers. —New Zealand Times. We have to acknowledge tho receipt, from the proprietors, of the Haweka Star Almanack and Directort for 1888. It contains a directory of tho < district from New Plymouth to Wanganui, inclusive, and also a quantity of information which should be useful to families and others. It should command a ready salo, as tho price is only one shilling.— Wanganui Chronicle. We have to acknowledge receipt of the Hawera Star Almanack for 1888. This Almanack, which is now a well established book of reference, contains a large amount of useful information. — Wellington Post. Wo have received a copy of the Hawera Star Almawack for 1888. It is a highly creditable publication containing a largo amount of useful information.— Rangitikoi Advocate. One of tho neatest and best got up book almanacks in the colony cornea from Messrs. Innes and Co., of the Hawera and Normanby Star. It containg 256 pages of reading matter, including a directory of the West Coast of the North Island from Wanganui to Waitara, a distance of over 100 miles. Thero is also a. valuable skotch map of the district, with Mount Egmont towering overhead, and a great variety of useful information. As a specimen of typography the Stab Almanack and Directort will compare favorably with anything of the kind published in the Australian colonies, and it is to bo hoped the enterprise of the publishers will bo as sufficiently rewarded as it deserves to bo. — Marlborough Express.
