+ (FBEBB ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, January 24. The s.B. Mariposa with English mails to 28th December, left San Francisco for Auckland on tbe 19th instant, three dayß late. The Zealandia with Colonial mails of the second instant arrived at San Francisco from Auckland, on 21st, one day early. CHRISTCHURCH, January 24. On Saturday afternoon, Wait's sawmill at View Hill, together with a house and stable belonging to Plaskett and a quantity of bush, was destroyed by fire. The township of Oxford was endangered about the same time by a fire which started in Weed'B bash. Rain, coming on about three o'clock, checked the flames, and prevented further damage.
