MESSRS. HUNTER AND NOLAN'S REPORT.

Auckland, January 12. Horses. — A good many have been brought forward, and changed hands at an increase on the previous week's values. We quote — hacks, at from £3 10s to JEIO 10s ; light harness hones, JJ6 10s to £10 10s. Wool, Hides, and Skins. — A limited quantity was pitched. We quote —ox hides, from 3d to 4. d perlb; cow do, 3d to 3_d ; calf, 4f d to sd ; sheepskins, 3s 6d to 4s 6d. Cattle. — There has been a good deal of animation in the market, and a large number has changed hands, but prices were scarcely so high as in the previous week. Sheep were in average number at Newmarket on Tuesday, but a larger number would have found purchasers at a slight advance on the previous week's values. Lambs were in adequate numbers, and sold at from 6s 9d to 9s Gd. Pigs. — Scarce, and there remained an unsatisfied demand.
