_.. MMTITRES. The Fkkkzing Company, Auckland. KuTnihia. September G, 1887. Enclosed please find order. ... In December I shall require a fewtons good Bones and Superphosphate. Xheiiontß and Superphosphate supplied last yoar gave jjood results. Although a dry season I hare a good crop of Swedes. J.ne Corn Manure also gave good results on the growing Oats. Yours truly, W. Gardner, Manager Hon. J. Williamson's Estate. The Fbeeztng Company, Auckland. Waitoa Estate, Waihou. September 2, 1887. Your Manures were used upon this TCsMe for the Turnip crop last season at the rate of lewt. each or Superphosphate 25 per cent, and 13onediist per acre. The results nre very satisfactory, and the crop compares very favorably with that oi the previous season, when Ltiwes' 36 per cent. Superphosphates -were used at the same rates. Our Swede crop lias been carrying sheep at the rate of 160 per acre per week, and. many of the roots weigh, up to 14 and 161bs. Yours faithfully. G-. L. Gbant, Manag«r» The Fbeezing Company, Auckland. - Panrnure, July 1, 1887. Dear Siks, — I wish you to know that lam greatly pleased with the Manure which I had from you last March. You will remember that I intended to use Bonedust only, but on your recommendation, and a good deal against my own inclination, I gave a 33-acre field of Swedes at my Te Awamutu farm a dressing of your Special Dissolved Bone Manure. Ido not hesitate to say that the crop has been three times as heavj' as I had looked foir — that is, three times as much as I had ever grown on the same paddock with any other Manures. Many of the Swedes were 30 inches in circumference. I bave also used your Grass Manure on new grass witli extraordinary results. The sheep running on this grass have improved very rapidly, and I consider that I have realised better prices for them as a result of the use of the Manure. English Phosphates, costing me £6 per ton more, have not yielded me results to be compared with those I have had since using yours — which is ever since yonr works started. You may make any use you like of this letter. Yours truly, * Kogbr Eat. CHEMICAL WORKS, I ** AUCKLAND. 1^
