VERNON'S TEAM v. ELEVEN O SYDNEY. By Telegraph— Retjter's Copyright. SYDNEY, November 28. The match, Vernon's Team v. Eleven of Sydney, was continued to-day. The weather was fine and the play good, bnt only a poor attendance of spectator!. With a Fcore of 286 to their credit for the loss of five wickets the Englishmen eon* tinued tbeir first innings, and succeeded in putting together a total of 850 before all were disposed of. In addition to the individual scores already reported, Feel contributed 54, Newton 80, Yernon 8, Raliug 4, Beaumout 2, Attol (not oat) 18. The local team followed on, and when time was called had scored 186 for two wickets, towards which McDonald con* tributed 112, Bannerman 8, Beale (hot out) 47, Allen (not out) 17, extras 2.
