■ MANURES. • :-i. Thf Fun xing Company, Auckland. Rnkuhfa. September 6, 1887. ICiu-ii veil ]>!c;w> find order. . . . In December I shall require a few tons good Bones and Superphosphate. ThcßoMt and Superphosphate supplied last year gave sood results. Although a dry season I have a good crop of Swedes. She Con Manure also gave good results on the growing Oats. Yours truly, W. Gardkeh, Manager Hon. J. Williamson's Estate. The Freezing Company, Auckland. Waitoa Estate, Waihou, September 2, 1887. Your Mit nines were n<cd upon tins "Estate for the Turnip crop last season at the rate of lewt. each of Superphosphate 21 per rent. <'md HoiHN.lu.st per acre. The remits :«.rc very satisfactory, and the crop compares very favorably with that of the previous season, when Lawes' 36 per cent. Snpc-i phosphates were used at the same rates. Our Swede crop has been carrying sheep at the rate of IGU per acre per week, and. many of the roots weigh up to l<t and lGlbs. Yours faithfully, G. L. Gkant, Managtt. The Freezing Company, Afckmnp. Panmure, July 1, 1887. I'r vi Sins, — 1 wish you to know that lam greatly pleased with the Manure tvlicTi I Tiad from you last March. Tou will remember that I intended to use Boncdust only, but ou your recommendation, and a «<v>d <le«l ma'msb mj- own inclination, Z gave a ,73- acre ficM of ftwedes at my Te Awamutu farm a dressing of jour Special Dissolved Eone Manure. Ido not hesitate to say that the crop has becu three times as heavy as I had looked for— that is, three times as much as I had ever grownta the mi me paddock with any other Manures. Many of the Swedes were 30 inches in circumference. I have also used your Gra'-s Manure on new grass with extraordinary results. The sheep running on this grass have improved very rapidly, and' l consider that I have realised better prices for them as a result of the use of the Manure. English Phosphates, costing m« £8 per ton more, h.-ive not yielded me results to be compared with those I have had since using jours— which is ever since jvoV works started. You may make any use you like of this letter. Yours truly, Room Kit. CHEMICAL WORKS, 1 "*- AUCKLAND. 1
