; y On Saturday afternoon, the first s^age of the firing for the Cup, presented to the Rifle corps by Mr. Pearce, took place. There was a large number of competitors. The weather was favorable, and the shooting generally was good throughout. The following are the six highest scorers :—: — 200. 300. 500. Hp. Tl.
