The Hawera State School examinations have been postponed, on account of the holiday, from the 9th to the 10th instant.

The Hawera Recreation Ground presented quite a picturesque and animated appearance on Sunday afternoon, wben the band gave another of its pleasant performances. The sacred hymns and the other variated religions items were capitally played and much enjoyed.
